Guest Presentation with Alfonso Calero, March 26th

Last meeting night we had the pleasure of hearing from Alfonso Calero who shared his experience and tips on composition and photographic genres.  Alfonso has wide experience in food, travel, portrait, landscape and book publishing and regaled the audience with his experiences.  Of particular note is Alfonso's concern for his subjects, in particular travel portraits where it is important to get permission from the subject before taking photographs.   This is something many people neglect when travelling but is important if we want to avoid exploiting our subjects.  Alfonso has a unique way of seeing the world and his images reflect his empathy with the subject.
