On Thursday night we had the pleasure of a presentation by Shirley Steel, who took us through her background and early experiments with images to the present day. Shirley has created her style based on camera movements and the use of textured overlays to create a dreamlike world. Shirley has been strongly influenced by the work of Freeman Patterson.
