Breakout Style Evaluation Night, Thursday 16th June

Yet again Lane Cove Creative Photography has demonstrated that we lead the way in our approach to image evaluation, with our “Breakout” style evaluation night last Thursday.  The purpose of breaking into smaller groups is to allow all members the opportunity to discuss in detail the images submitted on the night.  Smaller groups with one of our facilitators allow all members to discuss and have their say, without the pressure of speaking in front of a full meeting.  This time we had two groups, with John Chapman and Jim Crew moderating and facilitating the discussions and again we had a wide variety of images presented for evaluation.  We have found that this style of discussion is very popular with the members and allowing for a variety of input and opinions.  Everyone comes away from the evening having learnt something.
