Lane Cove Creative's 50+2 Anniversary night

LCCP 50+2 Anniversary, finally! Last night we held our 50th Anniversary night, after being twice delayed due to Covid. The night was a huge success, with several past members and Life members present. We had a display of prints as well as a 15 minute slideshow from several members, all demonstrating the various member's journey through photography. Unfortunately a few members were not able to attend due to Covid and other commitments, but those present enjoyed meeting old friends and discussing the prints and old camera equipment on display. Of particular interest was the enlarger and darkroom equipment, which was totally alien to some of the "newcomers" who only have taken up photography during the digital era. Thank you to all the helpers who assisted with the set up and the clean up on completion, with a special thanks to Margaret Miller, who wrote the history of the club and organised printing of the booklet that was given to all present on the night. Here are a few photos taken on the night by our own Brian Menzies, who was pressed onto service at the last minute due to Debbie Marsh being unwell.
