Special Presentation - RAW Processing Essentials 8th February 2024

Last meeting was a presentation and discussion on the essentials of RAW Processing. Again, we had a very good roll up, with several new members in attendance. From the questions asked during the discussion and comments made afterwards, it would seem that the presentation provided good information and will ultimately be of value in the future, for those members who photograph using RAW capture with subsequent processing.

The presentation covered the benefits of using RAW capture in the making of creative photographs, along with an overview of the processes available for turning a RAW file into a finished photograph. A copy of the PowerPoint presentation and a set of accompanying notes are now on our web site so members who attended can review the information and so members who were unable to be there can catch up with the information.

Our next meeting is our first challenge night, the subject being  'After Dark' and hopefully the presentation and discussion last night will be of value in making exciting and creative photographs that illustrate the challenge topic.
