Special presentation: Creating Composite Images 26th September
At our last meeting we had a presentation about creating composite photographs. The presentation included information about making relatively simple composites, such as replacing a sky or adding a texture, to more complex creations involving subject matter from a number of source photographs.
The importance of factors such as relevance, lighting, colour, tone and making shadows was covered along with stressing the need to maintain the result as totally your own work.
A pdf version of the presentation and some accompanying notes have been added to our web site https://www.lanecovecreativephotography.org/support.
We also selected our panel of ten prints for next meeting’s Interclub with Mosman and Northside Creative. We had a fairly large number of submissions put forward by many members from which to make our selection. Because of the significant numbers some good photographs had to be overlooked. Sincere thanks go to everyone who put forward submissions, whether or not they had their work selected. The result of the positive response and the enthusiasm, is that we have a very good panel to put on show.
Our next meeting on October 3, is the Interclub and that will be followed by our next challenge, ‘On the Spot’.
