Tonight is the culmination of 12 months of blood, sweat and occasional tears as our members work towards presenting a panel of personal work on a topic or theme of their choosing. During the year, participants have the opportunity to present and discuss their work in progress with the aim of completing their panel for exhibition on this night. Past experience has shown the wonderful variety and diversity of themes and ideas presented by our members. A night not to be missed.

This is the second night where our portfolio participants can present their work in progress. By this time of year it is expected that most portfolios will be well advanced and tonight is an opportunity to gather feedback and suggestions prior to finalising the work for submission at our “Gala Night of Portfolios” on November 9th

Following our Portfolio kick off night on March 16th, tonight is an opportunity for our participants to present their ideas and work in progress for a group discussion, assistance and evaluation. These nights have proven to be of great use to members in refining their ideas in a supportive and constructive environment.

The Portfolio returns for 2023, even bigger and better. Once again members have the opportunity to create and share a body of work with personal meaning with the support of the club’s most experienced photographers. In this initial session we will outline the process for the year, so bring along your ideas and rough workings for discussion and get the year off to a flying start.

Celebrating the culmination of Lane Cove Creative Photography members sharing ideas, thoughts and concepts to produce a series of images of meaning and significance. The facilitator for the evening will of course be our 2020 Portfolio Mentor, John Chapman.

John Chapman returns to gently nudge us along with insightful and constructive Portfolio commentary. We're over halfway through the year and the clock is ticking!
