Invisible with Liz Loh Taylor Exhibition & Chinese Garden

Water Dragon by Robert Schaverien

Our first formal club outing for the year began with the visit of twelve club members to the Sydney Leica store to view “Invisible” the work of Melbourne-based humanitarian photographer Liz Loh-Taylor.

Her black and white photographs shared stories of the communities she has visited in remote locations across Africa, Pakistan and Peru, where she found dignity and pride amongst the poverty.

Next stop was Darling Harbour’s beautiful Chinese Garden where there was a short stop for coffee in the Tea House before embarking on an hour of serious photography. Encouraged by the fine weather and congenial company the outing extended to include a long lunch at a Darling Harbour restaurant.
