Evaluation Night 11th July

Last meeting was another well attended Evaluation Night with a very good number of most worthwhile photographs submitted. There was a wide range of subject matter and styles displayed, with many creative and thoughtful photographs. Many of the photographs showed the application of the creative techniques and processes we have been discussing in our Essential Skills presentations. We continue to see our members trying out imaginative techniques and processes and the standard of creative work continues to grow.

It was pleasing to see work submitted by our new members. The image shown her eis from one of our newest members, Rebecca Munkman.

Once again there was good participation in our group discussion which was very capably moderated by Brian, who kept the evening moving along with every opportunity for comment. The positive suggestions that arose will no doubt be of great  assistance to all members, whether or not they actually submitted photographs. We can all learn from good photographic evaluation.

For our next meeting we will be viewing a video presentation by David de Chemin titled ‘The Heart of the Matter’
