Presentation #2: Special Effects Thursday 6th February

At our last meeting we had a discussion about applying special effects and how they can be applied to turn our documentary style photographs into more creative works of photographic art. The special effects types we discussed were in two broad categories; one dealing with special effects that can be applied using built-in Photoshop commands and processes and the other using plug-ins and supplementary software.

Our attendance numbers continue to increase and we now seem to have overcome the effects COVID had on attendances.

Our next meeting, on February 20, is our first challenge night for the year with the theme of Monochrome. This follows our presentation a couple of meetings ago when we discussed creating monochrome photographs. So start preparing some great monochrome photographs and remember to have a look at the revised instructions, available on our web site, on how to correctly size your photographs for projection.
